Guest Artists for the 25th: We will be hearing Bluegrass Music from great artists! It is a pleasure to present four professional Bluegrass musicians. They are: Suzanne Thomas (guitar & claw-Hammer banjo), Missy Raines (acoustic bass), Jim Hurst (guitar), and Bill Evans (all kinds of banjos).
They are each professional recording artists, and all have received awards for their work over the years. The Alaska Folk Festival Board of Directors can hardly wait for next spring! BLUEGRASS IS COMING TO JUNEAU!
25 Years: Planning for the 25th Annual celebration is now focusing on producing an expanded printed program to include a 25-year retrospective, with photos from past festivals, old posters, stories and recollections.
